Keywords vary and so do their purposes.

For instance, one of my friends has been exploring electric vehicles and recently looked up “Tesla Model S VS Porsche Taycan”.

That search clearly shows he’s comparing the two cars to see which is better.

Conversely, if he searches “buy an electric car,” it’s evident he intends to purchase one.

However, this query isn’t specific enough for a website to just recommend one electric car.

They could, but then many visitors might leave quickly, which could damage your search engine rankings over time.

You see, ranking for a keyword is just part of the challenge; the other part is ensuring your webpage and its content align with the search intent.

SEO is more than just getting a webpage to rank. It’s about assisting people by presenting a webpage that addresses their specific query.

So, think beyond the keywords you aim to rank for and consider what the searcher really intends to find.

Remember, no amount of backlinks, fast loading times, or on-page SEO expertise will help…
