Why Real People Beat AI in Creating Popular Online Content
In the fast-paced world of online marketing, many people are using Artificial Intelligence (AI) to create content.
It’s quick and can handle a lot of work, but there’s a big catch: not many people seem to be interested in reading what AI writes.
A Look at the Numbers
We asked 1,051 marketers about how they create content.
Most of them use AI in some way, but only a small group, 12.3%, stick to creating content the old-fashioned way — with human effort only.
Then, we checked which type of content gets more attention on Google.
The answer was clear: content written by people did better 94.12% of the time compared to AI-written content.
We didn’t stop there. We also worked with 68 different websites to see how much traffic AI-written articles got.
The result? Each AI article got about 52 visitors a month, while articles written by people got around 283 visitors. That’s more than five times the traffic!
